This week, 112WATCH founder, Pavin Chachavalpongpun, attended the final court hearing on his case. He was attacked by a "man in black" in his own home in Kyoto in July 2019. The attacker, Tatushiko Sato, a 43-year-old Japanese man, refused to reveal the masterminds. The Japanese court sentenced him to 20 months in prison.

Pavin wrote this article in Washington Post, dated 9 June 2022, highlighting the fact that this is an ongoing transnational repression promoted by the Thai palace in undermining their critics overseas.
