Fuadi Pitsuwan Talks about Thialand's Human Rights Policy

"At present, Thailand is seeking to join the UN Human Rights Council. While there is merit in this endeavor, as it would subject Thailand to international scrutiny and foster global connections, the UN's credibility will be undermined if it allows membership despite ongoing human rights violations such as the arbitrary use of legal repression against opposition and dissenting voices."
