'Baipor' and 'Boong' are Released from Prison

On 4 August 2022, Netiporn 'Boong' Sanehsankhom and Natchanich 'Baipor' were temporarily released from prison. They are charged with lese-majeste for organising a public poll in regards to the status of the monarchy.

They were granted bail of 200,000 baht under the conditions that they would not commit the same crime, that they would not obstruct the judicial process and that they would not leave home between 19:00 to 06:00. They must also report themselves to the police every 30 days.

They had been locked up for 94 days during which they made several attempts to seek bail. They also protested by hunger strike while being held and feel ill needing hospitalisation.

เมื่อช่วงค่ำ 4 ส.ค. ที่ทัณฑสถานหญิงกลาง น.ส. เนติพร เสน่ห์สังคม หรือ บุ้ง และ น.ส.ณัฐนิช ดวงมุสิทธิ์ หรือ ใบปอ ผู้ต้องหาความผิดหมิ่นพระบรมเดชานุภาพ ได้รับการปล่อยตัวชั่วคราว หลังศาลอนุญาตให้ประกันตัวออกไปในวงเงินคนละ 2 แสนบาท ภายใต้เงื่อนไขที่ห้ามกระทำทำนองเดียวกับที่ถูกฟ้องอีก ห้ามขัดขวางการพิจารณาของศาล ห้ามออกนอกเคหสถาน 19.00-6.00 น. ห้ามออกนอกราชอาณาจักร และให้มารายงานตัวกับศาลทุก 30 วัน หลังความพยายามขอประกันตัว 7 ครั้งที่ผ่านมาถูกปฏิเสธ ในวันนี้ความพยายามครั้งที่ 8 ก็เป็นผล หลังถูกคุมขังเป็นเวลา 94 วัน และได้มีการประท้วงอดอาหารเพื่อทวงสิทธิการประกันตัวเป็นระยะเวลา 64 วัน
