112WATCH on Advocacy Mission in the United States

112WATCH joined forces with other Thai NGOs travelling to New York City and Washington DC to carry out an advocacy mission to call for the US government to

1. Monitor the Thai elections closely;
2. Take time to accept the legitimacy of the elections and not rush into it like those in 2019; and
3. Work with the new government to ensure it will resolve outstanding problems including releasing all political prisoners and drop lese-majeste charges against the people and repealing Article 112.

We also composed a joint open letter to Antony Blinken, Secretary of State, to reiterate our request to his government.
