Thai Activist-Scholar Confronts the Taboo Issue of Monarchy

Anusorn Unno, a scholar from Thammasat University and an activist, confronts the taboo issue of monarchy, reiterating the importance of royal reform and the role of academics, both in Thailand and elsewhere, to raise the lese-majeste agenda. The use of academic forums to discuss this pertinent issue is imperative. And academics enjoy "special social status" to bring this issue onto the table in the context of scholarly discussion.
