Student at Burapha University Arrested
A student at Burapha University has been accused of committing lèse-majesté because he expressed his political view against the Thai government.

On October 24, 2021, the police apprehended unnamed student for holding banners with statements such as, reform the monarchy, and abolish Article 112. The incident took place in the province of Chonburi. It was reported that the arrest took place without an arrest warrant and outside of the legal proceeding. A day earlier, another student was also arrested under similar circumstances.
