Female Activist Imprison over her Activities near Royal Motocade
Accused her of disturbing the royal motorcade to humiliate the royal family.

Today, March 20, 2022, the Thai Criminal Court ruled that the bail granted to a Thai female activist, Tantawan Tuatulanonda, be withdrawn, and that she must be sent to prison straight away.
Tawan, as known in the political movement, was accused of lese-majeste for her Facebook statement revealing the royal itinerary and her Facebook live broadcast near the royal motorcade on March 5, 2022.
The police accused her of disturbing the royal motorcade to humiliate the royal family. Prior to her imprisonment, she wrote on her Facebook, "Please continue to fight. While fighting, please think of me."
