The 3rd cycle of the Universal Periodic Review is taking place in Geneva

While several countries have called on Thailand to improve its human rights situation, from freedom of expression, right to assembly to arbitrary detention and harassment of human rights defenders, there are so far eight countries which have stressed the need to reform Article 112 or the lese-majeste law. They are Luxembourg, Norway, Sweden, Belgium, Switzerland, Canada, Denmark and France.
