Thai Prime Minister General Prayuth Chan-ocha Confirms: No Amendment to Article 112 of the Criminal Code
Thai Prime Minister General Prayuth Chan-ocha has confirmed that his government will not amend Article 112 of the Criminal Code.

The prime minister's statement emerged in the midst of public debate and the court intervention of the call for reform/abolition of Article 112. Prayuth said, "Thai monarchy is the key pillar upholding the nation. Each monarch worked tirelessly for the benefits of Thais. Therefore, the institution must be protected."
